Our process

At Wenzi Coffee, we are dedicated to producing specialty, premium, and conventional coffee through rigorous processing methods that uphold quality at every step.

From Farm to Processing:
We work with nearly 3,000 farmers who cultivate Arabica (harvested February – April & August–November). After harvesting, the beans are carefully processed using both washed and natural techniques, then dried to prepare for milling—ensuring consistency from field to cup.

Packaging:
To maintain freshness and flavour, we use durable jute, polypropylene, and advanced GrainPro bags, tailored to storage and transport needs. Each bag is precisely weighed, sealed, and labelled to guarantee quality until it reaches our customers.

Storage Facilities: In our storage facilities, we maintain controlled temperatures (15°C–25°C) and humidity (50%–60%)—the perfect conditions for preserving sensory qualities and preventing degradation.

Pest Control and Maintenance: We implement comprehensive pest control, including regular cleaning, traps and baits, and sealing entry points. Continuous monitoring ensures swift responses to protect coffee integrity.

Our Farmers

The cooperative was established to bring pride and ownership to the origin of our coffee. Each farmer is registered and assigned a unique identification number, which enables us to trace each batch of coffee back to the specific farmland where it was grown.

In collaboration with our trusted partners, our farmers are trained to implement sustainable, organic agricultural practices, which help us achieve the highest quality beans. Two-thirds of our farming partners are women. Our farmers are equipped with the knowledge required to be self-sustaining and forward-thinking, helping them improve their overall quality of life.
